Volunteers
Nate Rich
I have been working for the Tribe for four years as a Water Quality Specialist and have been fortunate to work with the kids during that time. Our Environmental department has assisted Kashia School with incorporating local watershed awareness into science curriculum with a focus on the water cycle, non-point source pollution, and stewardship. We strive to deliver lesson plans that empower the kids to think about stewardship through a cultural perspective of respect for the land.
Abby Gomez
Abby has been working with the school for a number of year with Nate Rich to improve the students scientific knowledge.
Violet Parrish Chapell
Violet Parrish Chapell now deceased worked for many years before her death to help the students. The school in honor of her many years of service and dedication to the students of Kashia dedicated our garden to her memory.
Bob Sibley
Bob has been working to help the students for years. He is a jack of all trades and has taught the students about planes to gardening. He is always there to help teach hands on learning.
Maxine Barboza
Maxine Barboza currently one of our board members as well a former volunteer and employee. In honor of her year of dedication the school has dedicated the school kitchen in her name.
